That feeling of being rejected really sucks. Even when it's a job you could care less about getting, or a team you don't really care either way. I have had rejection letters, and it's almost insulting the way they are written. Rather short...and to the point. Like death, the reception of such a letter carries various stages. Usually, anger, then sadness, then regret, and so on. The toughest stage is realizing you don't measure up to
someone's standards.
But the thing is, if they didn't send it out wouldn't you be left with your hopes drying out wondering, "what ever happened with that application I sent"? Yes, I would rather take rejection then so many days, weeks, or months of wondering.
